Windows Password

Hello to all,
I'm new to TechSpot, I've heard a lot of good things about this site and all it's many different forums.
How do I reset my Windows Password if I'm locked out of my computer and can not get in? Is there anything that can be done from the bios to reset windows password or even cancel it?

what windows version do you have? there are some boot cd available that can reset the administrator password on nt4/2000/xp maybe vista as well (not tested that yet).
