Windows/start key getting old

hello, my windows key pulls up the start menu when presed. this is all fine and dandy but when im playin joint ops i accidently press windows key and it sends me to my desktop w/start menu open. its hard not to get shot when this happens! can this be turned off? it is off in the accesability options under control panel. thanks, regnad

A quicker and simpler method is to remove the key hat from keyboard.

Or I Could Just Remove The Finger That Keeps Hitting That Button. I Dont See This As A Fix.
