Windows won't boot in my new pc

i build new pc couple days ago and i use hdd sata WD1600JD with windows xp from my old pc but when windows logo show up i get blue error screen and restart if i use hdd in old pc all is working good.

my new pc :
intel c2 q6600
asus p5e x38
8800gt 512mb
4g ddr2 1066

plz help idk what to do

the bsod tells you that some drivers do not work with the new hardware as they were meant to work with the old configuration. so basically you should do a fresh install on a new system unsless you use almost the same or exactly the same hardware configuration. everything else is a workaround for a workaround.

if you don't want to do a fresh install try boot into safe mode with f8 after the boot post. then remove the drivers for special hardware such as video card, chipset, network adapters, anything that is not a common driver.
be aware that this procedure may make it a nightmare putting the drive back in the old computer!
