Windows XP Blue Screen

Hi, I am having some intermittent blue screen issues. Unfortunately, I don't have the blue screen error codes but I do have one from the Event Viewer:

Category: (102)
Type: Error
Event ID: 1003
Description: Error cod 1000007e, parameter1 c0000005, parameter2 00000000, parameter3 ec1ead4, parameter4 ec1e67ed4.

From what I can tell of the debug report is pointing to usbstor.sys. After testing with a flash drive and verifier.exe, usbstor.sys is loaded when a device is attached. I have not added any new hardware, but it may just be a corrupt or maybe the usbstor.sys driver needs updated. Does this sound about right?
