Windows XP home edition!! Please help!!

Hiya, i don't really know much about computers so i'm hoping you can help me out. Everytime i turn my pc on a message comes up saying something about an error and gives me 3 option of whether to start in safe mode, or start windows normally. I've tried each option but when i select them and the windows xp loading screen comes up it just sticks there. So windows won't load up at all. Can anyone help?? Thanks xxx

Try to boot in safe mode. If that doesn't work i think you have to reinstall windows... I also had this problem

i've tried in safe mode but it just does the same thing.
