ok, so I'm not totally stupid with computers but I am stumped. After starting xp pro in safe mode, and then restarting it normally, i am left with no box to type a password in. nothing, nada, zip, zilch. I was originally brought to the opening screen with to options for passwords, being me I had forgot what they were and was soon told i was locked out. Fine, restarting the computer brought me to the same screen with the administrator box asking for the password. Well that stumped me. I talked to someone who may have known the password, but that didn't work. i was told to restart it in safe mode then restart it normally. well, that's when i get the same screen, minus any box to click to type in my password. Does anyone have an idea as to how i can get that administrator box back? I know the password now, which makes this all the more frustrating. Thanks.
