winxp task manager disabled

I got attacked by a virus, and cleaned it up with virus scan. After that my computer started freezing up, when I press CTRL/ ALT/ DEL my task manager would come up properly for only a day, then a box would appear that said task manager has been disabled by the administrator, even though I didn't disable it. Can anybody help me ?
