I have two computers: A and B

A:
- Gateway MX6956 Laptop
- XP Media Center Edition, Version 2002, SP 2
- Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection

B:
- HP Pavilion Desktop
- XP Home Edition, Version 2002, SP 2
- Belkin 802.11g Network Adapter

I use Comcast cable highspeed internet and am connected through a wireless router (Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router) and a cable modem.

A is able to connect to the network and browse the internet just fine.
Here is A's "ipconfig /all" information:

forget sharing for the moment; your connection to the ISP is independent of
sharing. all systems must be able to see each other and the internet first.

system Xibalba is just fine -- leave it alone

system IansComputer has no IP config; go to the wireless adaptor
and enable DHCP. Then use your View Network Connections, to find
your router's SSID; dbl-clink on it to connect.
once connected, you can THEN use ipconfig /all to see how it connected.
Before a connection is made, it will continue to look just as it is now.

Get this running correctly and THEN we can take up sharing issues :)
