Wndows shout down whenever starting Nero Express burning

hi

I have a problem with Nero.
whenever I start burning image to CD, using nero express, windows suddenly restart.

I did alot of tests using scan disk for errors, system restore and finally reinstalling NERO. but no joy.

I hope I can find help from this nice forum.

my PC is :
Winxp+SP2 latest
3.2GHZ Intel
1.00GB RAM
M/B Intel 875
DVD/CD WR PLEXTOR

Does it restart before it is finished making the CD? Because there is an option to Shut Down Windows after CD Creaton is Finished. Make sure this isn't checked. And if that's not the problem maybe we can figure out why by a little more information, as if it is when 10% is completed, or something that can be repeated.

actually, it restarts once I press the button of Burn with Express.

If you fill in your Profile (under User CP) and tell us what size PSU (probably too small, generic 300Watt ?) you have, we may come up with better assistance.

Nero ,although a great program , does not like previous authoring software and Media player 7.When you post back with your specs make sure you list any previous software eg. Adaptec .
I think you have an Aspi layer conflict.
