XP 64-Bit is so elusive when trying to automatically log out/log off a domain user account while idled.
What I'm trying to do:
I'm trying to accomplish a way to log out/log off a user that has left his or her session idle for a period of time. I don't want to lock the account with password protect when idle.
What I've done:
Windows Resource Kit comes with a screen saver called, winexit.scr. Reality check... The resource kit is for 32-bit platforms... Winexit.scr works well, for XP 32-bit, but just wont work on XP 64-bit with Domain User accounts.
Task manager seems to have some sort of odd timing, where I was logged off even though I was active on my desktop.
Aside from winexit.scr, can anyone recommend a successful auto log off for Domain users?
Thanks,
sjsn
