  1. i just bought a new comp for gaming, and it is running on xp home edition. This is my rig: http://www.xfire.com/profile/lethalresistant .

between times, the comp crashes and reboots itself especially when gaming. On my older comp that runs on hoime edition as well also crashes from time to time. but as for my oldest comp which is very low-end but runs on profesional edition doesn't have these random crashes.

is there anyway to cure this problem??

    million thanks, lr.

    Hello and welcome to Techspot.

Go HERE and follow the instructions.

If that doesn`t help attach 5 or 6 of your latest minidumps here.

By default, Win XP reboots, rather than blue-screening. Try the following:

Right-click My Computer - PROPERTIES (or hold win button + pause)
    Select the ADVANCE tab
Under Startup & Recovery - click the SETINGS button
Under System Failure - clear the AUTOMATICALLY RESTART check box.

At least next time your PC should Blue Screen & then you can google the error message (im guessing driver for $50!)

    Good luck! :grinthumb
