xp home edition but i am unable to get it running

hi I am trying to re boot my pc with a new version of xp home edition but i am unable to get it running.I an set up in raid mode which I think is causing the problem can anyone please help.I am presently using vist which I want to take off.Thankyou

unless you have two hard drives set in RAID, you cannot use RAID.
