Xp home kernel32 call dose not point to kenel32.dll

I play the settlers 3/4 game alot but recently when loading "quest of the amazons" error mesage said kernel32 call dose not point to kernel32.dll and then previous disc "Missions" that played ok said same thing
any sugestions would be greatful
