Xp load when it want ??? sometimes yes sometimes no

I've been having this trouble for like 4 months when I boot i've got like 20 white stripes that become a big white strip then right after that i've got the XP logo and XP load, but this is when it work....but sometime like every time now it stay only white stripe and do not load at all or load like 1/15 on the load bar...i've reformated yesterday morning I've install all my driver but i've already tried to reinstall XP this is the 4 time and it keep doing that...i've even maked a low level format and whrote all 0 on my disk ( i maybe wonder it's trouble whit hardware like my WD HDD ? but before buy a new one i just want to know if anywone any s****estion about it )...( just in case if it could help last night I've let my computer open downloading music torrent whit Utorrent and this morning I've open my screen try to move my mouse but the screen still black...Like screen saver...I've reboot and my computer not want to load at all like it do sometime but now it does it every times )...if someone can help me giving me suggestion about what to do it would be very appreciated

When I start in safe mode it load thing but it stop att the \windows\AppPatch\dvrmain.sdb if someone know about it ???

Let us know what the computer's hardware specs are. Like computer make, model, video, memory and processor...
