Here's some background.
About 2 weeks ago, I found that I could only access a few websites using either IE7 Beta, or FireFox.
I spoke with my ISP and they say all is fine, but still negligible connectivity.
sooo, I try to do system restore, "can't restore to that time" I've gone back as far as a few months, won't let me do it. Try to boot in Safe Mode, won't work, just give me boot device options. gave up, tried to reformat, Nope, the volume is in use, try to force? Y
no luck, cmd line fdisk nothing
it's driving me crazy.
I have not installed any new hard or software, I have no idea what happened.
i've scanned with avast a/v, ad-aware, spybot, ewido, no fix.
What do you think?
