XP split screen

Need XP help,

My niece was playing on my laptop and somehow she created split screen on my XP. I have on the right side looks like the start menu that's expanded and the left side is the desktop with all it's icons. How do I get the start menu or button into its right place....anyhelp?..thanks, john

it sounds like your toolbar is moved...
just grab it and move it to its rightful place (where you want it to be) (grab the toolbar... dont press on the programs..)

if it does not move its locked.... right click on the mouse and ulock the toolbar.. when the toolbar is moved, lock it so it stays there... (right click ... lock the toolbar)...

I had the same problem with my wife's laptop. Those darn kids!!!

The screen also could have been tiled vertically.

Right click on the Taskbar> undo tile.

Don't close the Windows before you undo or you will have two 'wrong size' Windows!
