To cut a long story short my computer is useless. The windows xp sticks when i try to log in, iv tryed to use the Recovery console and all the other methods only to fail.
Now im using someone elses harddrive to bypass my own oporating system to retrive the files on my own harddrive. Only i can see the partions but the system will not let me copy the files because there all under my user name that i was using.
Is there a way round this, or can i repair the xp installation though the oporating system that im using to bypass my damaged oprating system?
Please help, im ready to throw my computer though the window
