HI, I use XP Pro, but whenever I start in safe mode, The login screen is always completely blank! I can't login. Any ideas?

Also, I do not wish to download or reinstall windows

Why are you starting in Safe Mode?
How do you know for sure you are going to safe mode... e.g. how are you trying to startup in safe mode? What keys are you pressing?
What is the brand and model of computer?

RE that reply

I press F8 repeatedly
It's a Dell Inspiron, Laptop
School computer, but I'm a teacher
GO down to safe mode
I know it's safe mode b/c it says safe mode around the screen before the login menu
I am doing this to get change the admin password b/c I forgot it.

PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO DO THIS!!!!!!

You will not gain access to Safe Mode if your machine requires an administrative passoword. Safemode does not bypass security.

In some cases yes it does. Most people don't access their adminastrative account in Xp because it doesn't even show up unless they're in safe mode. When you log into that, you can edit or remove any password of your choice. It's almost like a loophole in Xp. I only know this to work with Xp Home Edition though.
