History: I added a second computer to my router (D-Link DI604); Both PCs running XP Pro SP2; I wanted to share drives and the printer on PC0. On both PCs, I ran network setup wizzard, enabled file and printer sharing, shared the drives/directories, disabled Windows firewall, changed both workgroups to "WORKGROUP".
After some tweaking, everything was working. The next day, ALL settings listed above reverted back to their default values. Workgroups changed to "MSHOME", Windows firewall was enabled, and my shared drives (on PC0) were unshared. The systems were rebooted before this happened.
Any ideas?
