Year change automatic

Hello,
Just thought that I would try here for some help. I have been having problems with my computer changing the year to 2406 just by itself. Of course when that happens I have all kind of other problems also. Can anyone tell me what is causing this? I have scanned my computer and found no virus.

Try changing your cmos battery. That may cure the problem.

Yes that`s right.

A dead or failing mobo battery can cause all kinds of weird problems and could well account for the date problems you`re having.
