Typically when we here about a website being hacked or a company being compromised, it ends up being a enterprising or mischievous hacker or group of hackers looking to make a profit or a name for themselves. Not so in the case of a recent Facebook hack, it seems, in which they are pointing the finger at corporate espionage.

Facebook is alleging that a Canadian porn film producer called SlickCash tried to brute force their way into Facebooks servers, and now they are taking the company to court over the attempt. What, exactly, the firm was trying to glean from their servers isn't clear, nor if it was really them at all. It is an interesting case, however., and it will be interesting to see how it turns out as well.
