AT&T has announced that it will give away a free entertainment pack to customers who purchase a Windows Phone 7 device. The package, estimated at a value of $30, is only good for 30 days, but it gives you a pretty good taste of the Windows Phone platform's major components.

The three components of the pack are as follows: the Xbox LIVE game ilomilo from Southend Interactive, 30 days free unlimited music service and 10 free songs to keep through a one-month Zune Pass trial, and 30 days free to download and watch hit TV shows with U-verse Mobile. Out of all the videos I've watched for Windows Phone 7, the one for this game got me the most excited, probably because I love challenging puzzle games on my mobile device (and the 3D aspect makes it even better). Check out a couple of videos: here and here.

While the inclusion of this particular game has me really excited, the 30-day trials of the Zune Pass, which enables you to have unlimited access to songs in the Zune Marketplace plus 10 DRM-free songs to keep, and AT&T U-verse Mobile, which gives U-verse TV customers one-app access to download and watch TV shows as well as schedule their home DVR recordings directly on their smartphone, is also fantastic. After the 30 day trial, you will have the option of retaining your Zune Pass membership for $14.99/month and the U-verse Mobile subscription will automatically charge you a $9.99 monthly subscription fee on your AT&T wireless bill unless you cancel (at 1-800-331-0500).

The offer is valid from October 25, 2010 through December 31, 2010 (redemption must be completed by 11:59pm PT). To redeem the offer, you'll have to head over to att.com/windowsphone, click on the Entertainment Pack offer, provide information to confirm your device purchase, and follow the rest of the redemption instructions. To do so, you'll need a valid US credit card, PC Internet access, Wi-Fi availability, and the ability to send and receive SMS messages.
