Most naysayers of the latest 3D trend dislike the technology because it requires you to wear glasses to view the special effects. Recognizing that, companies are working toward solutions that are visible with the naked eye and various upcoming products feature such screens, including Fujitsu's new Esprimo FH99/CM all-in-one desktop PC, which touts a glasses-free 23-inch 1080p 3D display.

We're not sure if the machine will be available in several sub-models, but at least one version is outfitted with Intel's Sandy Bridge-based Core i7-2630QM quad-core 2GHz processor and the H65 chipset. It also has 4GB of DDR3 RAM, a 2TB HDD, a Blu-ray drive with 3D support, gigabit Ethernet, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, four USB 2.0 and two USB 3.0 ports, as well as Windows Home Premium 64-bit.

Fujitsu will begin serving the FH99/CM to Japanese customers on February 25 for an unappetizing price of $3,100, and the company hasn't been clear about international availability. Even if the machine remains exclusive to Japan, Toshiba and other manufacturers are expected to launch PCs with glasses-free 3D displays throughout 2011 if you're not discouraged by the high price and eyestrain.
