Lian Li has gone ahead and added all their current mainstream features to the A04 and has kept the overall size comparable to the A05N, but there are a lot of differences. Dimensions are probably the only common attribute between the two enclosures....

Generally we can recommend the PC-A04 for quite a lot of things. It can of course be used to build a highly sophisticated NAS or home network server. On the other hand it can also be use as a multimedia PC, a gaming machine or simply a nice desktop...

To sum up, Lian Li's PC-A04 is a real winner in the mATX world. With the ever growing availability of very competent micro ATX and Mini ITX motherboards, the PC-A04 is one of only a handful of cases I'm aware of that can do these high-end boards...
