The Beoplay H4 headphones sound great and have a simple, elegant design. They deserve to be considered alongside models from Bose and Beats.
Premium build, genuine lambskin pillows and pristine sound for its price, what’s there to hate? The Beoplay H4 Wireless Headphones are a reliable, pocket-friendly way to experience what B&O has to offer.
The BeoPlay H4 is a stylish option for music lovers wanting something bassier and wouldn't mind paying a bit more for looks and aesthetics.
While it's not feature loaded, the Beoplay H4's sound quality and comfort level earn it the right to be in the conversation if you're considering a full-size Bluetooth headphone for around $300.
The B&O Beoplay H4 headphones deliver a wonderful Bluetooth audio experience and look particularly good doing it.
The H4s just don't have enough quality or convenience to justify their cost. If they sounded better, sure. If their loveliness didn't fade so quickly, or if they were provided with a good protective case, then yes. But as they are today, the Beoplay H4s are superficially attractive and internally flawed.
Bang & Olufsen's Beoplay H4s are the good kind of compromise. You're paying around half of what you'd expect to drop on of Bang & Olufsen's pricier pairs but without sacrificing too much.
The BeoPlay H4 headphones look great, sound better, and are a breeze to use. If you're looking to take your first step into the high-end headphone market, the $300 price tag is accessible and the craftsmanship and quality of materials are worth the cost.
My advice is to listen to the B&O Play headphones at a shop before buying. The company’s build quality isn’t in doubt; just make sure the sound is what you can get used to.

With a sound signature that's consciously going after the bass-lovers out there, we weren't expecting to like the sound of the BeoPlay H4 headphones as much as we did. Certainly it's a sound that suits some genres more than others, but otherwise this appears to be an adept pair of headphones, reservations about its controls notwithstanding.
If you've been eyeing the Beoplay H7 wireless cans (S$599) but are put off by its steep price, you might find the new Beoplay H4 more attractive. The fresh Beoplay H4 Wireless Headphones are fashioned with the same level of haute and precision, shared by...
