Lenovo Yoga Slim 7

Lenovo's new Yoga Slim 7 is a fabulous bargain: fast, well made and extraordinarily sensibly priced.

The Yoga Slim 7 is another excellent laptop from Lenovo that's well worth considering as your next upgrade: it brings with it really good battery life, decent performance, and an overall design that we find hard to fault apart from one or two minor annoyances.

As an all-rounder, I'm having a hard time finding any other device that offers the same kind of value for the same kind of money as this Lenovo IdeaPad (Yoga) Slim 7. This is the most capable implementation of the mobile AMD Ryzen platform we've seen so far, and Lenovo didn't skimp on the build quality, screen, thermal design, speakers or inputs either.

The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 is light, powerful, stylish, and versatile, and it doesn't cost the earth. Relatively low storage, which won't be a dealbreaker for everyone, and slightly questionable build quality are the only real downsides. Otherwise, the Yoga Slim 7 is an excellent choice.

Lenovo once again gives us a masterclass on how to make a world-class laptop for under a grand. There's very little reason to spend any more unless you need an ultra-high-resolution screen.

Lenovo’s Yoga Slim 7 14ARE05 is a compact, powerful, and portable 14-inch all-rounder. We would have preferred a matte display, though.

Okay, we kind of knew what to expect, but to say that we were impressed by this notebook would be an understatement. Yes, there are some downsides, like the lack of memory upgrades for example, but at the end of the day, this laptop houses the best ultrabook processors you can find out in the wild.
