As comfortable mice go, the Logitech Ergo M575 is right up there. Its trackball and curved body feel natural to place your palm on, ensuring all-day comfort for your hands, wrists and arms. Minimalistically designed, this mouse will fit right into the office space, and it’s also easily customizable via Logi Options+. However, there’s no lefty variant, and the mouse uses a disposable battery.

The Logitech Ergo M575 is a well-built, more ergonomic alternative to a traditional mouse that's held back only by a design that won't quite fit everyone's hands or workflows.

The Logitech M575 is great for office use. It stays put on your desk, and you use the trackwheel with your thumb to move your cursor. It feels well-built and has an ergonomic shape ideal for a palm grip for nearly all hand sizes. It connects wirelessly with a USB receiver or Bluetooth, and it has several buttons you can program using the software compatible with Windows and macOS. Unfortunately, the wheel has no L/R tilt buttons and doesn't unlock for free scrolling.

The Logitech ERGO M575 is a worthy successor to the well-received M570 trackball. It’s refined for maximum comfort and includes a decent amount of new features, making it ideal for new users and trackball familiars alike.

When it comes to gaming, we recommend sticking with a regular mouse because games tend to require fast movements and using a trackball wouldn't be ideal in that situation. For daily computing tasks such as browsing the web, the M575 is fantastic and it does everything it's been designed to do amazingly well. Overall, I believe the Logitech M575 Ergo mouse deserves our recommended award.

In short, if you plan to switch from a standard mouse, you'll need some time to get used to it. You'll also have to remember that the Ergo M575 isn't supposed to move. And while the trackball won't feel as precise at the start, you'll soon appreciate how much easier it is to drag and drop stuff, or highlight text.
