The ASUS ROG Strix XG32V is a gaming monitor that comes with ROG's finest features on a 31.5-inch 1440p VA panel. Great colors, great ergonomics, but I still don't understand why there's an external power supply.

The Asus XG32VQ is an excellent gaming monitor all throughout thanks to its impressive specs and a very capable VA screen. The combination of a high-contrast panel and Quantum Dot technology provides an exciting and engrossing visual experience especially when playing AAA titles. The monitor’s physical features are well-loved by reviewers and the enthusiast communities, although most would still prefer subdued or subtle designs.

The Asus ROG Strix XG32VQ is slightly dearer than its AOC rival, yet it’s not as bright, and doesn’t have the same level of colour accuracy either. For gamers, though, the more responsive panel and low input lag will more than make up for those shortcomings. While the RGB lighting doesn’t add much, the Strix XG32VQ is overall the best large-sized gaming monitor on the market.

With its premium design and something that certain users would refer to as the ‘ROG tax’, you can expect it to demand a slight premium in its price compared to the likes of the AOC AG322QCX. Then again, availability out of the gate seems to be much more solid with this one, so acquiring the beast should be easier.

The XG32V absolutely dominates your view. 32 inches of curved loveliness. It fills your vision in a manner that, until now, you had to invest in multiple screens to enjoy. We're used to 24 and 27 inch monitors here at OC3D, neither of which are exactly small, but 32 inches is a ridiculous amount of real estate to sit 18 inches away from.
