The Gigabyte X570 Aorus Xtreme is painfully expensive. However, it’s by far one of the most feature-packed motherboards to ever sit on our test bench. We could spend 50 pages on this review before we got through it all. However, for extreme overclocking and being the only fan-less X570 motherboard around, we can’t help but love the AORUS X570 XTREME.

Every so often a motherboard comes along that extends the boundaries of what's possible on a consumer platform. The Aorus X570 Xtreme is one of those boards. Its VRM and general power-delivery setup is without peer in the X570 chipset realm. 16 true phases, a brand-new Infineon controller and class-leading power stages all combine to outspecify every else on the market. Something has gone seriously wrong if the VRMs fail before other components.

With its solid and high-performance 16-phase power delivery combined with elegant and PCB covering armor, the X570 Xtreme is the board that enthusiasts that aren't put off by the $700 price tag looking to build an AM4 based gaming system should be looking towards. It has the features, it has the looks and it has the power delivery to make it one of the best X570 boards at present and even without a lot of fluff or fanfare, it sits as the only model without an actively cooled chipset heatsink and that just adds to the allure.
