For what it’s worth, though, the cards delivered are great, opening up exciting new strategies while giving mainstay decks the boost they need to stay relevant. There are hints here and there of power creep, but by and large Blizzard has once again managed to mix things up without ruining the impeccable balance that makes Hearthstone so enduring.

It’s left-of-the-dial enough to warrant repeated plays and the new cards it spits out should tax players in the online mode significantly (unless they have them too). It’s a bit of a pain to have to wait to play the whole adventure, but then, didn’t you want something to look forward to next week?
