The Acer H7531D 1080p home theater projector does a credible job for the price as an entry level choice, but won't satisfy more demanding users....

The Acer H7531D is the only 1080p projector we've seen recently under $1000 to feature an auto iris, and black level in dark scenes is excellent as a result. It is also a very bright projector, lending itself well to non-traditional applications...
