This Sony TV simply brings so much more detail, clarity, sharper edges, and far more vivid and natural colours. The picture quality is constantly breathtaking and jaw-dropping. Prior to owning this TV, I owned a very fine widescreen Sony Bravia, which...
Whatever angle you take, Sony's KD-65X9005B is a formidable 4K proposition. With its mould-breaking design, pixel-pushing picture processing and audiophile pretensions, it sees Sony's TV division at its most confident in years. Also available in 55in and...
As far as Sony are concerned it's Ultra HD 4K or bust. The Japanese giant is placing all of its eggs in one Ultra HD basket and the success or failure of the format could well decide their TV division's future. Sony are still making Full HD TVs, of...
Rival television companies tout motion-enabled remotes and voice controlled sets, but these half-baked features are more gimmick than value add. Sony's focus on sound and picture quality has less appeal on paper, but it makes a great difference to...
Overall, the KD-65X8005B is a barnstormer of a 4K bigscreen television. We've seen some great Ultra HD performers this year, but none are so comprehensively satisfying as this new X9, and our caveats remain minor. From design to AV performance, the KD-65X9005B impresses. This updated X9005-series Ultra HD TV is another hit for Sony. The 2014 version (X9005B) takes things even further with an excellent-quality screen, first-rate picture quality, plus exceptional sound (for a TV)—something our ears have never had the...
Sony's KD-65X9005B produces really stunning picture quality, not just with UltraHD video, but also with Blu-rays and HD broadcasts. Its sound quality is top notch too thanks to its meaty speakers. The chunky design, 3D performance and smart TV system...
If you're thinking about upgrading your TV and taking the 4K plunge then you'd be hard pressed to find anything nearly as good as the Sony X9005B. Although the 65-inch version's £3,600 price isn't small, it's a lot more affordable than...
There's plenty we like about the Sony KD-65X9005B, from its stylish build to its intuitive smart features. We particularly love how easily it displays natural and subtle hues of colour – it's certainly one of the strong points of Sony TVs we've seen this...
You need to look at Sony's X9 in a certain way to really appreciate how good it is. This is a TV right at the cutting edge of what you can get at home right now, but with that comes its own problems. Not that many people have 4K sets, so there simply...
