My computer won't open any programs.

When i start up Windows loads fine, the regular start-up programs open ect.
I got an error before restarting before nothing opened, and explorer.exe would not open.
There are a few weird process now o,0 such as 4.exe, and that goes away then 1.exe opens -.-
Is the only solution besides reformatt?
And also iunno why but when i go to my computer this thing comes up "Map Network Drive" and i cant get to C:\

As you have a few problems, it is possible that you may have malware/virus installed

You might want to post a new thread on Security and the Web about this. And read the top pinned guides there as well.

I would also suggest you get all your System Specs, and update your Profile

Well, i cant open the little System Specs program, and the pulldown menu's don't work

My computer is really messed up lol

Hmm

You know I'd normally say Repair Windows
or even SFC / ScanNow from the command prompt.

But because you may have issues ie Virus/Malware it may be better to backup:
Data
Network settings (username/passwords)
Email
Program licence
And anything else you want to keep.

And Start again (Re-Install Windows)

The problem with Repair, on your system, is that it may stop half way through the Repair process - where you will find it difficult to recover user data

By the way, you would need a strong Antivirus (updated) before returning your backup data.

What do you think - Time for Re-Install ?

i could not use the cmd prompt.
or anything for that matter.
i reformatted, so fresh comp and no viruses

buying AV and gettin free stuff ASAP
