Pros

Optimized and less expensive gaming keyboard option.
Stylish keyboard.
Plug-and-play functionality including multimedia keys and backlight.
Advanced functionality (macros).
Hardware AntiGhosting technology performs as presented.
Comfortable palm rest.
Works well in games (antighosting and fully backlit).

Cons

Doesn't have the Microsoft unique detachable number pad or Cruise Control.
Less than ideal tactile feedback on keys.
Play/pause driver issue.
Only red backlighting.
They got rid of the “knobs” from their previous Sidewinder keyboard.
Feels plasticky.
No USB hub.
Looks basic compared to its older brother, the X6.
Overpriced when comparing features.
