The amazing typing and gaming experience also extends to the internal software side as well. The keyboard uses smart n-Key Rollover to avoid ghosting and double presses, which are the last thing you need when you’re in do-or-die situations in your favorite games. While not wireless, the Kumara K552 comes with a meter-long USB 3.0 wire that has gold-plated caps to avoid corrosion. This means that you’ll get to enjoy lag-free input with comfort in mind during work or play alike.

The K552 from Redragon will do its bit to satisfy the majority of users. That includes a lot of gamers but with many exceptions thanks to some of the low-quality features. Since the price tag isn’t prohibitive, there is nothing to complain about.
The Kumara K552 from Redragon will satisfy majority of gamers barring one or two. For its price tag, there really is nothing to complain about. Even at twice its current price, this would still qualify as a must-have in our list of gaming keyboards. Superior construction, impressive tactile feedback, and simplistic but ergonomic design are probably the reasons why we recommend this keyboard to one and all.
At sub $40 for the red backlit version the Redragon is a very legitimate entry way into mechanical keyboards. The K552 lacks good design but more than makes up for it with very good build quality and performance for its price.
At this price, all of these complaints can be swept aside as the overall impression is still positive. Some shortcuts were taken, some features omitted, and even some mistakes from before retained. But it's extremely hard to find an equivalent keyboard at this price point, especially on major retail channels around the world, to where I absolutely have to commend the value offer here!
The Redragon Kumara K552 mechanical gaming keyboard is one of those keyboards, which does not come with a level. Meaning, it doesn’t fall under the binary of gaming or typing. In our opinion, it offers a very precise balance over everything.
I would highly recommend this to anyone who currently has a membrane keyboard and is looking to go down the mechanical keyboard rabbit hole...Trust me, you will never go back!
The Redragon K552 is a good gaming keyboard. The clicky Outemu Blue switches are satisfying and responsive, and they have a short pre-travel distance. Unfortunately, the latency is only mediocre, and without software support, gamers won't be able to set macros or reprogram keys. The full RGB backlighting is good for gaming in dark rooms, but it doesn't offer the same customization as a keyboard with companion software.
