The Zenbook 15 OLED is a well-built, attractive laptop with decent performance, an excellent display and good connectivity. It’s also reasonably priced, but you’ll have to contend with underwhelming battery life.

Think of this as a bigger version of the company’s Zenbook 14X OLED, just with an AMD processor instead of an Intel one and USB4 rather than Thunderbolt 4 support. If any of those are important to you, your decision between the two is made.

The Zenbook's big, bright and colourful OLED display is a treat for the eyes, and the 1.4kg weight of the Zenbook makes it a great option for travelling too. Its performance is more than adequate for daily tasks, however the OLED display uses a lot of power, and there are many lightweight laptops that provide better battery life.

We love so much about the Asus Zenbook 15 OLED (2023), from its screen to its super-powered processor to its frankly gorgeous looks, that we’d happily overlook a rough edge or two. But there comes a point where one runs out of forgiveness. The little things that aren’t quite right, particularly a very lacking battery, weigh just too heavily.
