One of the best Chromebooks available gets even better with LTE mobile broadband that eliminates the need for a Wi-Fi connection. You still do most everything in the browser, but now you can leave your Windows laptop at home....

So, at the end of this review, I'm left with mixed feelings. Yes, the Chromebook 11 has beautiful styling (most definitely stolen from the mid-2000s MacBook). However, performance-wise, I'm left wanting. It's nice that the system is completely fanless...

All in all, I like what HP did with this 11 inch version of the chromebook. I can work around the few shortcomings of this notebook. Keep the number of running tabs in check to alleviate performance and plan for the low battery life. One option would...

The HP Chromebook 11 At $279 MSRP , only so much criticism can be levelled at the HP Chromebook 11. On one hand, it's a well-built, attractive, seemingly durable device for the price point—but on the other hand, thanks to its simplified operating system...

Following the Acer C720, which we recently reviewed, HP has brought its own new Chrome OS-harboring laptop to the market, the Chromebook 11. Unlike some of the other Chromebooks that are available, HP has elected to aim its focus on the design aspect...

The Chromebook 11 looks great, is small and light and has the best screen we’ve seen on a Chrome OS device. However, build quality isn’t quite up to scratch and – more importantly – neither is performance. With several other rival Chromebooks about to be launched, it’s definitely worth waiting to see if one can combine good performance with a good screen at the right price. HP’s aims well with its latest effort, but misses the mark by a good margin.

If Apple can sell the idea of a plastic iPhone as a good thing, then HP must be on-trend with its new 11in Chromebook. There are acres of glossy white plastic, including when you open the lid. The lid is featureless save for the thin strip of lit-up...

The Chromebook remains a strange kettle of fish. Whether you'll warm to it mostly relies on whether or not you think Chrome OS is a good or bad idea. Clearly to make the most of the operating system you have to be online, although you can now...
