Pros

Powerful Intel second-gen components, Extensive security and wireless feature set, Aluminum chassis, Glass touchpad, Bright, high-resolution widescreen, USB 3,0 and eSATA equipped.
Industrial-strength chassis and hinges, Large, high-res display with effective anti-glare coating, Potent processors and discrete Radeon HD graphics, Comfortable keyboard and supersized glass trackpad, Incredibly complete array of ports, Attractive.
Very good performance; excellent battery life; comfortable ergonomics; ruggedly built; extensive expansion capabilities.

Cons

AMD graphics doesn't offer that big of a lift in graphics power, Less than 4 hours of battery life is mediocre these days.
Not as light or thing as competitors, Matte display lacks “pop” of glossy screens.
Expensive.
