The Cooler Master MM720 is a unique gaming mouse that improves on its predecessor, the Spawn, with a case, sensor and cable that compete with other high-end mice.

It's difficult to fault the MM720 in any way – it's super light, is available in both glossy and matte finishes, has a top-tier sensor, and comes with replacement feet and grip tape. But its wide, ergonomic shape is not for everyone. If you liked the old Spawn and Xornet, you'll love the MM720. If not, I'd recommend finding a way to test one out in the store before shelling out for it.

The Cooler Master MM720 is excellent for FPS gaming. It has an extremely low click latency and a high maximum polling rate. It's extremely light and glides around smoothly. Lastly, it has a wide CPI range that you can adjust in steps of 100.

All in all, the case for the MM720 is pretty simple. If you happen to love the shape, the MM720 is an excellent choice. If you don't like the shape, you'll likely wonder how anybody could give this mouse anything but a thumbs down.

Unlike the game "Among Us", the Cooler Master MM720 does not try to hide the fact it is visibly different from other ultralight mice. However, it would be unfair to label the MM720 as an imposter, especially as we have both excellent and improved aspects on this mouse. Physically speaking, the Cooler Master MM720 is shaped for claw-grip users. From a build quality standpoint, the body is quite sturdy and exhibits no signs of flex or rattling noises.
