If you're looking for a cheap, basic mouse to either game with or use for the desktop then you should highly consider the Microsoft SideWinder X3 as it offers great value for money while maintaining some of the features found on more expensive mice....

I feel I’ve been saying this a lot lately. It’s not a bad mouse, but when you can get a Death Adder, G500 for under the price of this thing, there’s really not much else to say. Those are simply much better mice. It might be a good...

We’re big fans of gaming mice here at GamerWok. Not only because of their design, technology, and function, but also because any serious PC gamer won’t be caught dead using any old OEM mouse! However, the question we get constantly is how...

During my career in journalism, we have tested many mice. Our favorite one continues to be the Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer. It was one of the best to say the least until the Microsoft Explorer mouse with BlueTrack technology arrived. In this...

Overall, I like the Sidewinder X3, although there are some qualifications to this. For one thing, I really would have liked an option to add a bit more weight to my mouse, as the X3 is a tad light for my liking. However, this is really a personal...

is a good mouse but it does lack the comforts of the higher end mice that I have grown accustom too. If your budget is very tight this may be up your alley, but if you have the extra money I would recommend checking out a few of the more expensive...

At forty bucks US, fifty Cdn, Microsoft's SideWinder X3 Mouse is certainly "affordable" - a tad pricier than a "regular" mouse but less than most gamer-class pointing devices, which run from about $50 up to some $150 for the hardcore Uber rodents.As...

The Microsoft Sidewinder X3 is a stripped-down alternative to the Sidewinder x5. While a few bells-and-whistles are gone, its performance is on par with its sibling. It will mainly appeal to cash-strapped and/or left-handed gamers (in fact, feel free...

The Microsoft SideWinder X3 is a raging bargain in the mouse world. It gives up some of the nice features of high-end mice, but keeps most of the performance you expect form a SideWinder gaming mouse. This is the mouse for gaming bargain hunters. ...
