Looks phenomenal.
The most stylish game on the block.
Plays really well.
Almost as charming as the Sands of Time.
A beautiful game that melds classic acrobatic gameplay with new improvements.
DRM-free retail discs.
Intricate level design.
Beautiful art direction.
Platforming is entertaining and looks great.
Cinematic combat moves are cool to pull off and impressive to watch.
Too easy for its own good.
Can get monotonous.
Storyline could have been better with ongoing narration instead of stop-and-start conversations that hurt the flow.
Really, really easy.
The new prince isn't a good leading man.
Some combat and platforming annoyances.

When the Prince of Persia was born in 1989, it began as a simple side-scrolling platform game. At the time, the graphics were beautiful, and the gameplay put a refreshing twist on the genre that Mario had set not too long before. After a few sequels...

Creating a fresh spin on a franchise that spans as many games as Prince of Persia does isn’t easy, which is why Ubisoft have done a great job with its recent PoP game. The basic elements of jumping along ledges and sword fighting against foes...

Also youre really not fighting groups of enemies anymore, so combat doesnt get monotonous nor does it seem like a pain in the ass. On the flip side the combat in this game is way too simple as compared to, say The Warrior Within or even Two Thrones...
