The Zone is the most terrifying place to visit in any gaming department.
Lovecraft would be hard pressed to describe something so bleak and unforgiving.
The new eye candy such as DX11 and Tessellation.
Advanced 10.1 support.
New level of textures/lighting.
Fantastic sense of place.
Lots of tense exploration.
Numerous improvements over the previous games.
Some cool new enemies to take on.
Still charming despite it's flaws.
Great NPC interactions.
Better side jobs.
Some recycled props, but no where near as many as Clear Sky.
Ever present Xray "stutter" is still here when entering a spawn area for the first time.
Still taxing on older systems despite the leaps forward in stability and polish.
The story takes too long to get interesting.
Pripyat isn't as interesting as the surrounding wastes.
Eating mechanic is tedious.
Supplies are too available.
Predictable encounters.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. returns to PC and this gem from Europe proved that you didn't need to be a software gaming giant to make quality first person shooter. Call of Pripyat is the next instalment from this series and follows the story of agent Alexander...

The trilogy is complete – Clear Sky was a prequel to the first game and Call Of Pripyat is the sequel. After the first four hours of playing CoP, and having played both the previous games, I am impressed – CoP is one helluva game and it...

The original Shadow of Chernobyl was an incredible game in many ways, offering players an opportunity to explore an exceptionally realized, radiation-blasted setting seeded with horror and entertainment. Yet it was also lacking in a few areas, one...
