Pros

It has a good range of frequency response to cover the whole human range.
Small form factor card fits tight cases.
Full X-Fi acceleration and everything that comes with it.
PCI Express connectivity.

Cons

The Forte is a little low with the input signal-to-noise ratio.
Any audio card is better than an on board codec.
