The Core 2 Duo E7200 performs better in CATIA as it is able to defeat the Phenom X4 9850. As usual the E7200 lags considerably behind the E8400 due to being clocked almost 500MHz slower and carrying significantly less L2 cache.

The Pro Engineer results are interesting as the Core 2 Duo E7200 smashes all Phenom processors in the first test, while it is slower than the Phenom X4s in the second.
