RTX 2060 vs. RTX 2070 and RTX 2060 vs. GTX 1070 Ti
When put head to head against the RTX 2070 we see that the RTX 2060 was up to 16% slower and that's a worst case scenario. Meanwhile there were a handful of titles where the margin was under 10% and overall this meant the RTX 2060 was on average only 11% slower at 1440p. You have to wonder why anyone would spend over 40% more on a graphics card that's not even 15% faster.
When we compare the RTX 2060 to the GTX 1070 Ti we see that on average it was 4% faster and there were about half a dozen instances where the RTX 2060 was slower by a 4% or greater margin. So far the only title to really hand the Turing GPUs a massive advantage over Pascal is Rainbow Six Siege, but this will be something to keep an eye on with future game releases.
