Synthetic Performance

The Asrock P55 Extreme4 also had a strong showing when testing with SPECviewperf v10. On the Maya test it was able to render an average of 43.11fps, matching the Asus P7P55D Deluxe once again.

When testing with Povray v3.6 you'll notice that this software appears to favor AMD processors and as a result both the Phenom II X4 955 and Phenom II X6 1090T were able to defeat the Core i7 920. The Core i5 750 configurations produced the lowest numbers here, with the Asrock P55 Extreme4 taking almost a second longer than the Asus P7P55D Deluxe to complete the test.

We used CINEBENCH R11.5 to measure OpenGL performance, and while the Core i7 750 processor fared the worst results overall, the Asrock P55 Extreme4 performed very well as it managed to out muscle the Asus P7P55D Deluxe.

In the CINEBENCH R11.5 CPU test you can see the Core i5 750 and Phenom II X4 955 deliver very similar results. The Asrock P55 Extreme4 performed as expected, matching the result provided by the Asus P7P55D Deluxe.
