  AMD Phenom processor family performance

-

Benchmarks: CATIA & Pro/Engineer

The CATIA performance was much the same on all four Phenom processors. Although the Q6600 was 11% faster than the Phenom 9900 for the second test, both processors delivered the same performance in the first test. The Core 2 Duo E8400 delivered far superior performance to any Phenom processor in both tests.

The ProE results are interesting as the Athlon64 X2 5200+ was actually the fastest processor tested, but how this came to be we are not sure. The Phenom 9900 delivered similar performance to the Core 2 Quad Q6600.
