Going a bit back in time we have F.E.A.R, which saw the GeForce 9800 GTX commanding a small 6% lead over the 8800 GTS 512 at 1920x1200. The victory that the 9800 GTX had over the 8800 GTX was more impressive at 36%. At lower resolutions the differences were more insignificant.
Turning on 4xAA/16xAF did have an impact on performance, though the margins remained much the same with the GeForce 9800 GTX showing some muscle at very high resolutions.
