Benchmarks: Total War: Attila, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

The R9 Fury X Crossfire cards performed well in Total War: Attila with an average of 45fps. This meant that they were 36% faster than the GTX 980 Ti SLI cards and 105% faster than a single Fury X.

The R9 Fury X Crossfire cards remained strong in the 99th percentile testing at 59% faster than the GTX 980 Ti SLI cards. Interestingly, the 99.9th percentile performance was considerably slower however.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt shows competitive performance between the SLI and Crossfire setups. Both delivered the same minimum frame rate though the R9 Fury X Crossfire cards were just 4% slower when comparing the average frame rate. That said, once overclocked the GTX 980 Ti SLI cards were 15% faster.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt frame time performance is similar to what we saw when testing with Total War: Attila. The R9 Fury X Crossfire cards provided exceptional 99th percentile performance but the 99.9% percentile performance was weak.
