Benchmarks: CrystalDiskMark

Using CrystalDiskMark we first measured sequential performance and found that the G.Skill Falcon II 128GB fared quite well on the read front with a throughput of 229MB/s. Write results were a little concerning on the other hand, with G.Skill's drive coming in last offering a throughput of just 105MB/s. Overall the G.Skill Falcon II was as much as 30% slower compared to other SSDs using Indilinx controllers.

Similar performance was seen when measuring random 512KB performance. The G.Skill Falcon II 128GB delivered pretty decent read results, but write performance was slower than any other SSD we have tested to date with a throughput of 94MB/s.

In our 4KB random performance test the G.Skill Falcon II 128GB produced our best read result yet reaching a throughput of 31MB/s. However, again the write performance was not quite as good as the Falcon II was 25% slower than the Crucial M225 using the same firmware.
